Tonight, sees the dawn of a new era for the Villagers with joint managers Garry Moore and Liam Page taking charge of their first game in charge against Rylands in the Macron Cup First Round.
This week saw the arrival of three new signings, with striker Louis Myers joining from FC United and Elliott Jones singing on also with Jordan Cobley returning to Barnton also.
Ahead of the contest we caught up manager Liam Page to get his views on what has been a busy week on and off the pitch: “To be honest we couldn’t have asked for a tougher start, but we cannot wait to get going. The signings we have made so far are pleasing we’ve got who we wanted.”
He added: “They are lads who will add a lot to the team and will help us improve and move forward in the right direction.”
As for settling in Page and Moore have now had a couple of sessions under their belts and Page is excited by what he’s seen: “The first few training sessions have been good, the lads have been working hard and we are seeing what we want out of them.”
Kick off tonight is at 7:45pm with entry just £4 for adults, £2 for concessions with kids getting in for free!
