Following a committee meeting this evening, Barnton Football Club can confirm the departure of Manager James McShane by mutual consent with immediate effect.
After lengthy discussions it was agreed that it would be beneficial for both sides to part ways, allowing for a new manager to come in and lead the club.
Chairman Steve Lloyd spoke to us this evening: "As a club we would like to thank James for his hard work, efforts and commitment to the football club and we would like to wish him all the best for the future."
McShane took over the club at the start of the 2018/19 season and lead the side to 12th position in the First Division South last season, this season we find ourselves 15th in the league and we were knocked out for the PlayerMatch.Com trophy on Saturday afternoon.
Barnton Football Club will make further announcements regarding the application process for the management position over the coming days.
