We welcome Cheadle Heath Nomads to the Offside Trust Stadium on Saturday afternoon as we look to pick up back to back league wins at home.

Manager James McShane will be looking to build on last week’s impressive win against Wythenshawe Town, a game that saw his side dig in and battle for three massive points.

Looking back at the result McShane was delighted: “I was really pleased with what I saw from the lads, we battled and showed our quality with the goals we did score.”

He added: “To be honest late on we perhaps should’ve put the game to bed, but in fairness their keeper has pulled off two top saves to keep us out.”

McShane also spoke about the maturity in the side and acknowledges that they are making progress: “12 months ago we would not have won that game, but we’ve learned a lot about ourselves as a group and we’ve now started to manage games properly.”

Saturday presents a different challenge against a Cheadle Heath Nomads side who have picked up 4 points from their opening two matches and we will be looking to go one better than we did against Nomads last season after beating them at home, before falling to a narrow defeat late on into the season.

Kick off on Saturday is at 3pm and entry is just £5 for adults, with concessions being charged just £3 and of course kids go free!
